I had
a similiar problem on Linux with multiple destops, if you can still see your
attribute editor,
look
at the "x position" and "y position", sometimes my x position shows up as a
negative number
and I
can't see the window, change the position to match your current
screen.
I have a peculiar problem in using vtcl , i can't
see tool bar window,( one of the VTCL windows), its gone out of
the visible site
( why and how its gone ,even i don't know?).I'm
running on win2k.
Is there any way
to get this window into visible range?
Robs,
Have
you faced this strange problem ?
I'm sorry to bother you all with this silly
thing.
cheers
Gopal

Don't be afraid to report them on the bug tracking database on
SourceForge :-)

I am a new programmer to Tcl. Based on what I have done, I would
suggest that you: 1. Download ActiveTcl8.3.4 This contains
Tcl,Tk and several other libraries http://tcl.activestate.com/
2. Download vTcl http://vtcl.sourceforge.net/
3. Get a copy of Tcl/Tk Reference Guide. You can download
it for free on the web. http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~raines/tkref.html
O'reily publishers also sells a printed version for about $10 US.

For now, I have been doing all my development in vTcl. There are
some bugs and problems, but so far, I have not needed to use anything
else.
For me, it has not been necessary to understand the relationship
between Tk, BLT, tix or any of the other packages. You only need
to include references the ones you need in your program.
Good Luck,
Rob
