Following a couple of recent inquiries over the last few days, it occured
to me that it might be useful to periodically just repost the WAFlyfishers
help file here on the list.
I strongly recommend you save this message somewhere for future
reference, in case you change your email address or have problems
receiving the list messages.

POSTING TO THE LIST (Messages)
______________________________
All postings (email messages) to the WAFlyfishers list should be sent
to:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Messages sent to this address will be posted for all list members to see.
COMMANDS (Subscribe, Unsubcribe, Help, etc.)
____________________________________________
Commands, such as subcription/unsubscription/help/info requests
should always be sent to the -request address of the mailing list,
specifically:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
\ - /
\-/
|
Note the '-request' portion of the address
Messages sent to this address will be acted on automatically by the
listserve software and will *not* be seen by the list members.
SUBSCRIBING
To subscribe to the mailing list, simply send a message with the word
"Subscribe" in the Subject: field to the -request address of the list.
For example -
Subject: Subscribe
UNSUBSCRIBING
To unsubscribe from the mailinglist, simply send a message with the
word (you guessed it :-) "unsubscribe" in the Subject: field to the
-request address of the list.
For example -
Subject: Unsubscribe
ADDRESS CHANGES
In the event of an address change, it is best to first send an unsubscribe
for the old address (this can be done from either the old address or
the new address), and then a subscribe command from the new address
(the order is important).
The format for unsubscribing from your *old* address is:
Subject: unsubscribe [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Most subscription/unsubscription requests are processed automatically
without human intervention. If you need additional assistance, see
HELP below.
Do not send multiple subscription or unsubscription or other requests in
one mail. Only one command can be processed per mail.
NOTE: The -request server usually does quite a good job in
discriminating between (un)subscribe requests and messages intended
for the maintainer. If you'd like to make sure a human reads your
message, make it look like a reply (i.e. the first word in the Subject:
field should be "Re:", without the quotes of course); the -request server
does not react to replies.
