I was on the water at 7am this morning. Fished alone at Doc's in the wind
and into the low slack tide. Picked up one smallish fish (geez, Bill it
looked at least 18").

About 8am, I saw and heard something very unusual. There were no cars on
the bridge and the lack of noise was amazingly noticeable, at least until
the newschoppers showed up. I still don't know what happened.

Oh, yes, there were quite a few fish leaping about in the waves. If they
timed their leaps correctly, they could get about 18 feet downwind (geez,
Bill there's that magic number again.
