<<Hey Mike, where is Coffepot Lake? It might be a good alternative to Lake
Lenore this year.
Thanks

To those of you unfamiliar with CoffeePot, here are some basic directions.
>From either Spokane or Pudget Sound, take I-90 to the Tokio weigh station
exit. It is at the West end of Sprague Lake. After you take your off ramp,
head north and follow the road until you see a sign for Harrington and
Davenport. Turn onto this road and follow it 15 miles till you get to
Harrington. Turn left at the stop sign and go through the main street of the
town. You will come to stop sign at Hwy 26. Turn left and within 200 yards
you will see a sign for Coffeepot Road. Turn onto this road and go about 15
miles. You will think you are in the middle of nowhere and that there
couldn't be a lake around and suddenly you will come upon a canyon on your
left and you will see the lake. The turn into the lake is well marked and
there is a nice but basic campground there if you want to stay the weekend.
I would guess that for those of you coming from the West side it is about an
hour or hour and a half farther then Lenore.
