Hi Bill:  The thought entered my mind that coming from Redmond via Rt. 90 it
might be 25 to 35 % less mileage by driving the Ephrata/Odessa Rt., turning
North on Rt. 21 and approach Coffeepot from the  west rather than following
Rt. 90 to Sprague and approaching the lake from the east as Mike suggested.
Probably, you have already thought the same thing when you looked at the
map.

Coffeepot Lake sounds like it might be interesting.
