I am a new member on this list.I live in Virginia but
as I have just retired so I will come and flyfish more
often in Washington state (my brother live in
Seattle).I have been flyfishing for trout for more
than 20 years but I am a beginner in steelhead
flyfishing.So I have a few questions for all members
of the list:
1- When would be the best time to come and flyfish for
summer and winter steelhead in rivers like the
Skykomish, the Stillaguamish, the Skagit or the Sauk?
2- What is the best river for easy trouts (even
small)near Seattle? (I would like to teach flyfishing
to my nephew who lives in Shoreline)
3- Please recommend a few good steelhead flyfishing
guides.
4- I am looking for a good disc drag reel for
steelhead. Do you have any recommendation for a reel
less than $200?
