Well, did you try Bush? I heard the same rumor Leland alluded to in his
post: a friend who lives on the South end of the island reported the
buzzbombers hit a couple large hooknose over a week ago.
I spent the weekend waking flies on the Thompson . . . for naught (except
for a couple suicidal trout that ate a bomber). My alibi is that water temps
are unusually low for this time of year. I unknowingly coordinated with the
Totem flyfishers (Vancouver B.C.) gathering and thus witnessed quite a bit
of pressure for this early..
