Don't think so. No flex, no worry. Another aspect. Use a little white DOT
on the wraps to line up the sections.(white dots line up and don't have to
worry about sight lining up the guides. If you want the rod to cast
farther??....One size BIGGER feeder guide and a one size bigger tip-top
