I am tying up some saltwater tube flies and have been putting an epoxy head
on them (actually thick Soft Body, but who cares). I want to try some with
a different type of head so I can put "cheeks" on the pattern. I've heard
that I can do this with SELF ADHESIVE MYLAR FILM. I plan to cut the film
into a small heart shape and fold it over the head of the fly, creating a
small head with cheeks. This would them be coated with epoxy.
I've tried a couple flyshops, some "virtual" flyshops, and several bait type
stores. Nobody seems to carry such a product.
Does anyone know of a source for SELF ADHESIVE MYLAR FILM?
Any info would be much appreciated!
