Not to answer for Leland cause I am sure his will be better than mine but I
have found the high tide thing to be a myth. I have generally done just as well
in a low or high tide situation. I think the key is moving water as I have
never had as much luck on a slack tide. A low tide of -2' coming from 11' can
be good cause that means a lot of water is going to be moving due to the 13'
swing between the high and the low tide.
What I look for more than anything else is wind direction. It has nothing to do
with the fishing but rather how good a time I will have. I hate battling the
wind and will try to look for beaches where the wind will not be a factor on a
given day.
Now I just wish the weekend would hurry up and get here cause Leland's reports
are affecting my ability to work. All I can think about is getting done to the
south sound.
