I'm intrigued by Andy's comment about whirling disease at Rock Creek. I'm thinking about a trip there later this fall and was been wondering about precautions to avoid contamination. As a larger question though, what's the status of the disease here in Washington and/or surrounding states? Kent Lufkin >Ran in to a MT biologist checking a smolt trap and he mentioned that >Rock Creek is second only to one of the Missouri tribs (prickly >pear?) in terms of whirling disease load.
