This is getting ridiculous.  There is nothing wrong with weighted flies, and 
there is nothing wrong with split shot on a leader.  The only thing wrong is 
the philosophy behind the use of them when it is illegal or unsporting. Most 
times I use neither, but there are also times when I have been known to use 
both. I am still a flyfisherman, first, last and forever, I am apparently not 
a politically correct one - and that loss is not mine, thank heavens.
