We are heading up to La Conner for Labor Day weekend, and I am wondering
about beach fly fishing opportunities. Ala spit and Deception Pass have
been mentioned. But what about Flagstaff Point on Kiket Island, Lone
Tree Point, or the distributaries of the Skagit river?
I am also thinking about bringing my canoe for a run of the lower
Skagit. I can imagine that the reach through Mount Vernon would be
pretty poor with all the levies, but what about reaches above and below?
Will there be any good fishing reaches, and what should I expect?
