I also think that Okuma overstates the capacity for floating lines on their
reels. When I first got my Okuma Sierra 7/8, I only put 50 yds of baking on
it with a WF7F and a WF7F/S, and now I am about to set it up otherwise, as I
would like a bit too much backing than too little when a big one decides to
take a run.
One note on my Sierra, I have noticed that the bearing tends to rust easily
after saltwater outings, be sure to keep it lubed, clean and dry after trips
on saltwater.
