Yes, you can switch them to either right or left hand retrieve.
I have found the Sierra reels for $29.99 at both the White Elephant and
Sportsmans Warehouse here in Spokane. From what I can tell, those may be the
best prices I have heard out of anybody on the list. I don't think anybody
over on the wet side has found this inexpensive.
I have nothing but great things to say about the Okuma Sierra. I have caught
many large fish over 20 inches on it and the drag has worked great. They do
have 3 minor flaws in my opionion. 1. They tend to overestimate the line
size. Get a 6/7 if you want to put a 5 wt on it for example. 2. The drag
has about a half of turn where it doesn't do much then it tightens very
quickly so you have get yours predialed in and know how to make small
adjustments. 3. The finish wears quickly. So for what it is worth you may
want to also consider the Okuma Integrity. A large arbor spool, a much more
precise drag adjustment etc.
