Lurkers are very common on listservers. I don't think that we should discuss them other than to try to get them to come out and say hello. Oh, one very good list that I was on awhile back had a bio that was automatically sent to all new members, and then the bio-person saw it posted to a website that only list members knew about. My wife and I met by this manner. And BTW, I was the the outspoken member, she the quiet member on the list.
