I don't consider myself a "lurker" though I haven't posted nearly as often as
many of you. When I do get out fishing, which isn't nearly enough, I
generally fish waters which need no additional information supplied (i.e.,
the Yakima). I have been a subscriber from very early in this list's life,
and was even soundly thrashed by one member for posting a report on a very
public, accessible spot which has become a regular mention on this list--Lone
Lake. In spite of his diatribe, ending with "...may your flybox get moldy
and your waders spring leaks", Lone Lake has since become "special
regulations" and is, in my opinion, underfished.

I truly appreciate those of you who post regularly. I read almost all the
posts, and have and will continue to expand my fishing horizons thanks to
you. I assume those who post often do so because they like doing it, not
because they feel any particular obligation. This is an area where I believe
we need all the cohesion we can muster to support the fish and our ability to
enjoy fishing for them. It seems to me that "lurkers" read this list not
just to "steal" information, but because they are interested in the sport.
In any case, I appreciate Kent's raising the issue, and this may help me feel
more motivated to put in my $.02 worth.
