The Spokane is getting tougher as the weather gets colder. Fished it a
week ago and got skunked. There were a few BWO hatching around 2:00 and a
couple caddis fluttering around but not many fish rising. Try using any of
the standard bead head nymph patterns (Prince, GRHE, Pheasant Tail) and get
them deep. I've had my best luck fishing the current seams. Also the most
productive time of day seems to between 12:00 and 2:00.
Good fishing,
Don
(Spokane)
