as too water...all rivers are the same. you have runs...riffles...pools. i
like to "sneak up" on the river....smaller the river...the more sneaking. ive
even had to approach a spring creek on my hands and knees so i didnt put the
fish down. sit back...no shadow in the water...and look for "risers" . you
need to start thinking like a trout buddy. the trout are facing upstream
watching what is coming by for forage. they arent in the current they are on
the edge of it. examples....behind a rock. remember the fish will not
expend more energy to get food then it will get from the food. so look for
those feeding lanes where the water is funneled. always wade upstream...not
