I like to keep things simple so here is what I use: Small streams and dry fly fun: 8'9" Sage LL 3wt.
Lakes and rivers with big fish or wind- Sage SP+ 6wt. My only planned adjustments are the addition of a 8 wt for steelheading and replacing the SP+ 6 wt. with a slightly slower action rod. I don't know what I was thinking when I bought that blank. It is a fishing trip saver in big wind but feels like I am casting a 2X4 about half way through the day on the river. I am more into a RPL/VPS action. Mike
