Launched my boat at Steilacom and fished the shoreline of Fox Island from
Gibson Point up to the Wolochet Bay area near Point Fosdick. Saw lots of
bait fish in the open water, but no silvers. I talked to some kayakers
whom saw some large fish on the surface yesterday as they paddled out of
Steilacom. They must have been blackmouth, because I said the resident
coho were only 10-13' and the guy said that these fish were 20+ inches.

Did not touch a single fish all day, and did not see any salmonids on the
surface??

Last Sunday, I fished from Doc's to around Fosdick and only saw two groups
of porposing silvers. One school was close to shore and I hooked one
fish.

I may head out to the Narrows again tommorrow. Seems kind of slow, but it
was an awesome day out on the water.
