I've always thought of the ponds as the ones over the first bridge. I've fished those ponds in past years and used to do real well with an orange soft hackle.
Past couple of years the fish numbers have really gone down in those ponds. I didn't fish RF last year so don't know if they were planted last year. For some reason a #14 orange soft hackle being "lifted" from the bottom was always a hot fly for me. One time I had company fishing those ponds and that guy was doing good with a waterboatman imitation.
