Somewhere in the neighborhood of $50. I have a long ago friend , Joe Hansen, when he lived here who now lives in Ravilli. He has the place with the pond right off of the Jocko.

Dell, I fished the Jocko last year for the first time in years. It's a fun little river, especially up high in the Missions. Lots of fun pocket water. I'm hoping to fish for some of the Browns down near Ravalli & Dixon. I fish free - I'm a tribal member, so I don't know how much the rez license costs.

I haven't fished the Jocko in years, caught one of my biggest small stream cutthroat there, also has some nice brown trout. It used to be that the Reservation permit was quite cheap but now about the same as all other tribes.

Dell, thank you. I'm sorry to hear this. I was there this time last year and everything was great. My nephew and I will be camped up in the Mission Mountain Wilderness Area so maybe we'll just content ourselves with fishing the Jocko River and some high lakes.
Appreciate the info.

Hi Cliff, Rock Creek has been in a steady decline for the last week and it is only half of the historic flow for this date, 627 cfs.

Hello there,

Saw a post in the last couple of days about Montana fishing which mentioned that Rock Creek was running a little high. Does anyone know if that's still the case? I'll be over there (north of Missoula) next week and I was thinking about trying Rock Creek or the Little Blackfoot. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Cliff
