Despite the problems I've had with Tiemco hooks, I still prefer them because they are easy to sharpen and stay sharp better than most other brands. For many types of fishing I really like Gamakatsu, but I bought a bunch of them for tying bonefish and permit flies and didn't like them. Terry Whitworth
