As Rod mentioned, it's actually quite easy. Apple has two models to choose from - the PowerBook G4, and the iBook.

For me, the iBook's great - small, light, well-featured, low-cost, it's got wireless, it's got a built-in modem, ethernet, USB, FireWire, DVD, CD-RW, everything I'm looking for.

The PowerBook G4 has all of those things, plus a PCMCIA slot, a bigger (gorgeous) screen, and a substantially faster processor. And a price to match, of course.

I suggest you sit down and work out your requirements, including your budget, then go shopping accordingly. I think you'll be happy whichever one you choose.
