Hi Jude, no I've tried it in my Panasonic DVDRV32 & they won't play either.
I'm burning from an external Pioneer drive which does data backups OK.

Do any of the discs work in another DVD player? Some DVD players are not
compatible with dvd-r, which is what standard macs burn.
Before you get worried about it though, more dvd players are incompatible
with dvd+r, which is what standard pcs burn.
