Hello, WAMUGgers,

I am doing a major project producing a CD-ROM of the proceedings of a conference, a collection of pdfs. It has two small QuickTime movies in it - one is a sound, and the other a short animation. I'm using a Mac with OS 10.2.8, and also have QT Pro.

I asked a friend with a Windows machine running XP to look at the disk, but he could not run the QT movies, even though he has Adobe Reader 6. The PC only wants Media Player. I have Windows Media Player for Mac 7.1.3 on my machine, but it won't open the QT movies.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this so that people with Windows machines can play the movies? Is there, somewhere in the microsoft operating system, a preference that could be activated to allow them to play QuickTime items?
