Hi,
Moving over to Melbourne and taking a new job which provides me with a
computer so selling my beloved G3-400 Firewire powerbook. Here are the
specs:
* 256 MB RAM
* 18 GB hard disk
* Boxed copy of Mac OS X 10.1 & 9
* Boxed copy of Appleworks 6 (I am pretty sure it is 6)
* Adobe Go Live Academic Edition for web site development (boxed copy
for OS 9)
* Built in ethernet and airport slot (you can add an internal airport
card / PCMCIA wireless card)
* Dual Firewire ports
* Sound in and out
* Infrared
* Dual USB port
* 56K built in modem
The only fault with the machine is that the power adapter is getting a
bit old now and sometimes needs a little press to get working (it's a
yoyo style where you can wind the cord into the power adapter), and
there are some key marks on the screen (when the screen is off and in
really bright sunlight).
I am looking for about $1,600 with all the software included.
I also have an external firewire 52 speed CD burner in a 5.25" IDE case
for $75.00 which I am willing to discount if wanted as part of the
package.
And finally, I have two AppleVision 17" monitors with Sony Trinitron
tubes. One of them has a few cosmetic markings (used to be used in an
art-y environment) as well as a tube that doesn't like mornings (after
about 5 minutes you get a stable picture). I will sell both of them
with one SVGA adapter for $50.00. I believe (never having tried this)
that you can use these monitor on Windows with the SVGA adapter.
