I use Eudora here at home with a POP3 setup.
I also have an account at work (Outlook). I could always run Eudora

The problem seems to be even with some good "forwarding" filters I
don't always get / have access to important e-mail while I'm at work.
I'm considering changing over to IMAP and setting all the misc, non
work related stuff to be downloaded from the server immediately (at
home) leaving the other stuff on the server making it accessible
from both ends.
Anyone got some recommendations / comments before I do the switch?
IMAP is great for email. Especially when you add ozmac.com into the mix.
Here is what I do.
I have an ozmac account which I use as my primary IMAP mail store. I
still advertise [EMAIL PROTECTED] as my primary email address.
Every two minutes, the ozmac mail server goes off and queries a bunch
of POP servers and downloads all the email from it and puts it in my
IMAP inbox.
Finally, I can now have as many IMAP clients as I want at as many
different locations as I want all sharing the same email. Changes on
one automatically happen on the others as well.
It works well.
