I'd like to know too. Ive used ffmpegX a few times with varying success.
So many choices of settings that I cant find what works best or works at
all, its a long wait while it encodes to find you chose a bad setting.
Since buying an MPEG4/DVD player I have stopped trying but there are
plenty of files that still don't play on this player (Zensonic Z330) and
I'd like to re-encode them.
