Make sure you download the latest version of ffmpeg. It has a new
interface where you drag your file in one side, and select an output
on the other.
For DVDs, make sure your output is mpeg2 (with the ffmpeg encoder).
You will also have to make sure that you keep the video standard
constant (ie Pal or NTSC), as it will cause a few playback issues.
There is a tutorial for ffmpeg on the website where you download it.
Also, have a look at <http://www.vcdhelp.com>. Go to the forums, and
there is a Mac section. In the Mac section there are hundreds of
messages asking and answering the same question you have!
