Hi. I have a new multi-function printer/fax/scanner/copier. I hope someone can help with a problem I have with scanning.
When I scan an image it is placed in a folder of my choice. However, if I want to change the name of the image file I cannot as I do not have the right permissions. I am the administrator and only user of the machine. Also, when I try to move the image to the trash I have to enter my password. There's little I can do with the image once I have scanned it. Get Info tells me that the owner of the image is System and even when I change the permissions I have to enter my password again. Once I change the owner to Michael, then I can save it under a different name but I still can't simply change the name of the file. I have downloaded the latest software from the Brother website and have also repaired permissions. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks, Michael
