I've used a normal mini dv camera with iChat with no problems, and
I've even managed to link my Sony DSR25 DVCAM deck up to it without
trouble.
Not sure what application you are planning to use, but thought I'd
pass on that you don't have to have a dedicated webcam for video chat.

Has anyone had success with a webcam that is not iView in OS X 10.2.
The archives seem to address attaching DVD cameras.
I've been to the sourceforge site and noted webcams supported. What
I would like to know is has anyone made it work.
