My 1.25 Ghz G4 currently has a Apple 17" LCD (1280 x 1024) and a
15" VGA CRT ( 800 x 600) displays connected for an extended desktop
video card is a ATI Radeon 9000 pro 64MB AGP
I've been thinking of upgrading the VGA to a bigger display.
evidently the Apple and Dell displays are reasonably similar,
Dell currently have their 24" wide screen model ( 1920 x 1200 @
60Hz) on offer at $1450 ( til June 22nd)
analogue, S-video, composite, DVI-D

Can I connected either of the new screens to my G4 for a really
expanded desktop, or do I need a different or additional graphics
card.
and when I upgrade to either G5 or Intel dual core next year will any
of these still be able to be connected.
(I am unsure what all this DVI, ADC, all means)
any advice is appreciated
