Hi everyone, To add to Tony's comments, I have an Epson CX5300 which has been kept in immaculate condition but just simply does not print at all!! Neither the black or colour printing work, probably with the jets all clogged up.
I just wish the inkjet manufacturers would make their printers serviceable by the user, specially the cleaning of the jets. I did everything that the book says but no go. By the way that's the 3rd and last Epson inkjet printer, of whatever brand, I will purchase. Since then I bought a cheap Brother laser - functions very well with my Mac. I now strongly recommend my relatives and friends not to purchase inkjets unless they buy one for well under $100- then throw away as soon as the ink runs out!! A waste nonetheless .... If anyone knows of someone who could service my CX5300, cheaper than a replacement scanner, please let me know.
