IF you have a good network setup, iChat to iChat on Tiger is by far
the best quality. The H.264 codec gives excellent results. The
problems is that Apple needs to work on it's network code. More often
than not, the connection fails with some form of cryptic error. This
usually happens on badly configured networks as I have yet to
encounter the problem on a network that I have set up.
Skype to Skype (Mac or Windows) is on par with Pre-Tiger iChat. I be
honest I haven't tried any other combinations.
