Anyone seen this - can't find a reference in the Canon manual for
what would have caused it or how to fix it:
I noticed about a few months ago that on my Canon 20D camera the
image file names are now coming up on the card as
"_mgXXXXXX.CR2" and "_mgXXXXXX.jpg" instead of "imgXXXXX.cr2" and
"imgXXXXX.jpg"
maybe coincidentally that was at the time I set it to shoot
simultaneous RAW & JPG but changing it back has no effect.
not machine dependant as CF cards put in both WIndows and Mac
machines come up with this new name format
not a big issue but annoying none the less.
