Does anyone know why certain text in a pdf file would display when viewed using Acrobat Reader, but be invisible when viewed using Preview?
I had a couple of reports emailed to me, and was querying the date, title, and column headings of the reports. The sender was telling me the information was there, but I couldn¹t see it. Eventually, it occurred to me to try opening the reports using Reader instead of Preview, and so appeared the missing information. Initially I thought perhaps it had something to do with page margins, but some of the text that is missing when viewed in Preview is further away from the margin than text that can be seen using both applications, so not a margin issue it seems. Any clues as to why this happens? Cheers, Steven
