Yep, Ethernet cable.
More specifically it may need to be a crossover Ethernet cable as
opposed to a 'straight' or 'patch' but increasingly 'normal'
Ethernet cable.
Crossover is for computer to computer, normal is for computer to
hub/switch/router(modem[not dial up])*
Powerbooks do not need crossover, they will work with straight
ethernet. One assumes this is true with MacBook and Pro, not sure as
do not own one.
