A mate has an eMac running 10.3.9 on broadband with a small outfit named Amnet.
He rang this morning to tell me his internet connection had dropped out. I suggested the usual things...disconnect everything for a couple of minutes and restart and also pointed out where to find 'internet connect'.....nothing!
His ISP, Amnet, said that Macs have a problem with 'Location' in network settings and told him to change the location to Amnet rather than the previous 'Home'. It worked and he is now back on line.
