I picked up a ($200) 500gig Seagate HD over the weekend from Officeworks. Plugged it in, Reformatted the sucker so it was running HFS journaled, turned on Time Machine and followed the prompts.
So easy it made me weep ... 'got me thinking of the days when I had to work with a tape drive and Retrospect backup solution in the office. A guy I know was broken into last week and had his Macbook pro stolen. All his work and family photos. I hadn't stopped to consider how much additional valuable data my computer contains since the launch of the iLife software. T.
