Hi Severin
As I said in my post about upgrading to 10.5.2 which killed my 2ghz
G5, I did have a time machine back up but when I booted from the 10.5
DVD the back up was not seen!! Luckily I use superduper so was able
to restore from that.
So I suggested that who ever uses Time machine as the only means of
recovery so do a test to make sure it was valid.
