Today my wife took our Macbook (Tiger 10.4.11)offsite, way out of
wireless range and among other things wrote some emails and "Sent"
them. No warning messages. I expected them to sit in the "Out" box
until she rebooted at home this afternoon. Lo and behold, they are
sitting in the "Sent" box. With hindsight it would have been better
to save them all as drafts to send later.
Has she somehow unwittingly gatecrashed a wireless network? Have they
really gone? How can I find out? Of course I can just "Resend" them
all but that is clumsy and messy and annoying for the recipients. I
can not believe that Mail would put them in the Sent box if they had
not actually gone.
