Since I did that, my printer icon has a red
exclamation mark,
and tells me that jobs are stopped, and nothing I have

change that. (pulled plugs, restarted, off/on,
re-added printer,
and checked the printer by plugging into my old iMac
where it works
OK.)
I was wondering if you've come across this type of
problem before?
The solutions are starting to get a bit technical for
me, and I was
thinking that maybe I'm overlooking something obvious?

Hi Ros,
1. Open Printer Setup Utility, highlight your printer, go to Show
Jobs, and DELETE any queued jobs.
Click 'Start Jobs'.
2. Then In the Print Dialog box you first needed to change the Preset:
back to 'standard' (or whatever) from 'Reverse'?
Then if you want to make 'standard' (or whatever) as your default
setting ... you hold down the 'Option Key' when selecting 'Print'.
