My son has a Skype problem. His work laptop is to be replaced with an
updated model and he requires to bring over all his Skype contacts and
his own identity. He has been through this before and has had to
setup a new identity and then reestablish all his contacts. On a Mac
he could use Migration Assistant and all would be fine, I think, but
this is under Windows. A further complication is that the company IT
gurus allow but do not support Skype.
I suspect that if he tries to set up Skype under his old name it will
be rejected as already in use. Has anyone else gone through this
process?
