G'Day Steven Logitech V220 has a battery which has lasted for 8 months so far. It has a feature where the USB receiver when housed in the base of mouse switches it off for travelling. Occasionally on special at Myer Garden City and Hardly Normal do a pensioners price. Regards Mike Armson
