Ok, thanks for this Wendy, it sounds as though you are experiencing the same
problems I am currently experiencing.

I will try your tip and revert.

Subject: Bluetooth Magic Mouse

Greetings Peter

Not sure if your problems are the same as mine -

I am having problems with Magic Mouse whereby it stopped doing all the extra
things like scrolling and became just an 'ordinary mouse'. Also looking at
the System Preferences >Mouse, I no longer got the video showing how to use the
Magic Mouse, instead it just showed ordinary mouse setups. After three
lengthy phone calls with Apple Support, the third person I spoke with suggested
deleting the bluetooth plist in MacIntosh HD > Library>Preferences and
restarting computer. The Magic Mouse then works properly however, this
annoying fix needs to be done every time I shut down and restart the computer.
I am about to speak with Apple again to see if there is a proper, permanent
fix for it.
