Thanks Tim and Peter, I could import the whole 1200 into Address Book. However it does not give me much flexibility to sort them.
Palm Desktop allows me to sort by name, company, suburb, etc etc. Something like a spreadsheet would be good but I would not have the availability of importing 1200 vCards into it. Bento (trial version) does not want to import vCards either.
