Graeme, It sounds like there is a major problem with your drive.
I would try reformatting the drive, then setting up Time Machine to use the drive again. If you keep getting errors like Disk Repair is advising you, it would be risky to rely on this as a back up disk! How long was the warranty? As an aside does Time Machine when working also back up my Windows work as well ie MYOB files Graeme Winters -- The WA Macintosh User Group Mailing List -- Archives - <http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/archives.shtml> Guidelines - <http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/guidelines.shtml> Unsubscribe - <mailto:wamug-unsubscr...@wamug.org.au> -- The WA Macintosh User Group Mailing List -- Archives - <http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/archives.shtml> Guidelines - <http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/guidelines.shtml> Unsubscribe - <mailto:wamug-unsubscr...@wamug.org.au>
