Not so much. Microsoft discontinued development of Internet Explorer in 2003, and discontinued support at the end of 2005. It was removed from their downloads site in January 2006. While it was considered a decent browser int its day, it has long outlived its use by date. Perhaps one reason it wasn't migrated is that it is not supported even by Apple on Intel Macs. Some of the problems are outlined here <http://www.soft32.com/download_195159.html>. You're much better off with pretty much any modern Mac OS X browser. It is not normal for your mail not to migrate. It's difficult to comment further without knowing more about the settings you used when doing the migration. Mail itself would have been migrated since it's already on your new Mac. Your old mail files will still be on your old Mac in /Users/<yourusername>/Library/Mail. Your old mail preferences will be in /Users/Library/ Preferences (com.apple.mail.plist). Copy these two items across to their corresponding locations on your new Mac and every should work.
